Garlic is a wonderful addition to many dishes, its aroma and flavor adding a new and enjoyable dimension. It's not such a great perfume however and one of the advantages of a garlic press is that it minimizes skin contact while still extracting all that pungency. I thought I'd try this garlic press,already being an owner of a Oxo Peeler,and was very disappointed in its performance.
Upon pressing the garlic both handles slid off in my hand making this my last Oxo product I will ever purchase.

Who would of thought I would get so excited about a garlic press that I would take the time to do a review! OK, I had the cheapy, move-out-for-the-first-time garlic press and after 20 years it bit the dust. This one is SO SUPERIOR! Holds multiple, UNPEELED ,cloves, presses with ease, leaving the skin behind, thus saving the peeling step. Nice heft, feels and works great. So glad I bought it!

Since I purchased this as a gift for my fiance who loves to cook, he and several of his guy friends have used it. Every single one of them is pleased with this garlic press. It fits comfortably into one's hand, crushes the garlic easily and efficiently, and is very simple to clean.

I have tried many garlic pressors, they either fell apart with the pressure or
they didn't crush the garlic well. I,am amazionaly satisfied with this garlic press.
