Customer Reviews: Nice Aesthetics but Hardware ProblemsSeptember 9, 2010 Alex(Milwaukee, WI) I received this set yesterday and after taking the pieces out of the box I was impressed by the solid wood quality and nice finish. There were some thin areas of the stain but they were all in hidden areas such as the underside of the table top. The assembly instructions were fairly clear though the images weren't of the highest quality, overall the assembly is pretty much foolproof.
Where I had an issue was two of the screws packaged with the set were cross threaded and since there were no spare screws included I was unable to assemble the last chair. Taking the screws and anchors to the hardware store I was unable to find a good match for the screws so I ended up buying two new anchor points and two new cap screws which don't match the rest of the set. If you run into the same issue I believe the screws at 6mm but I didn't have any luck finding the right length and head style.
For the price I'm satisfied with the purchase but adding a few spare screws would've made the process flawless.
