5 out of 5 stars This is an amazing wine key!   July 12, 2010
Will
I'm a waiter, and I've used dozens of wine keys over the years, and this is by far the best. It's easy to use, and operates very smoothly. It is a little bulky, but its bulky grip adds a high degree of comfort to its use. I love it. Worth every penny.

4 out of 5 stars Not perfect but pleased with purchase   June 26, 2010

Received product by date stated but cork screw seemed to be used. Description says new but maybe it was a fluke. Happy overall with purchase. Thank you

5 out of 5 stars First waiter's corkscrew that I could use easily!   June 20, 2010

I don't have a lot of hand or arm strength, and when I've had to use a waiter's corkscrew, I'd typically hand it to my husband. This is the first waiter's corkscrew that I've been able to use effectively. The movement is smooth and does not take brute force.

I didn't think that I would like any waiter's corkscrew as well as I liked my Screwpull table model corkscrew, which had unfortunately cracked after several years of service. After reading all the reviews, I risked getting this one because I thought it would be more durable and better for slipping into a bag when traveling. I love it. Works just as well as my old table model, and has some more flexibility for unusually shaped bottles, etc. It is a bit bulkier than many waiter's corkscrews, but I'm not a bartender/server and won't be carrying it in my pocket all day.

One note: someone else said that this doesn't have a great bottle opener. I've only used it once and it was fine, but not great. If you really care about the kind of bottle opener your corkscrew has, maybe this isn't for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Great Waiter's Corkscrew   April 28, 2010

This is the best waiter's corkscrew I've used in years. The screw goes in well, the leverage is perfect, and it's comfortable to use. I've used it with both natural and synthetic corks, and it works well with either.

We have opened several bottles of wine already, and we love it. It is made of sturdy materials, and works excellent.
