I give this bed tray 5 stars because it's wonderful, just as advertised, at a good price. It arrived quickly, via Amazon. It arrived in excellent condition, fine workmanship, needing no repairs. In my experience the laminate wasn't slippery and my dishes don't slide around. I had already bought a placemat just in case, having read one reviewer's 'slippery' warning. The hand grooves for carrying are simple, smooth and serviceable. The flip top is simple & works well. The support bar allows for one (useful) height, but you could improvise a longer support if you wanted more slope. When flat, a strong magnet holds the table top in place, to avoid 'flipping' accidents. The height is fine for me, but if you need more legroom underneath, you could simply put a flat pillow or folded towel under one leg. I bought this for a period of convalescence, but I'm sure I'll continue to use the tray for in-bed reading, paperwork and laptop use. It's very convenient and comfortable. I have to note that the shipping fee seemed high, adding to the cost of the product, but I am totally satisfied, and think it was worth it.

I ordered 2 trays from AAA Home Furniture Discounts, one with Flip Top Beechwood Finish and the Winsome Wood Bed Tray. I contacted the seller a few times to get more info and always got very friendly and helpfull replies within a few minutes. The trays got here sooner than expected and in perfect shape. We did not want to pay for overpriced trays so these are perfect!
I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter and they did not open it for until I arrived. It was broken in the box although the box looked perfect. Not happy customer. The flip part was broken in pieces. They have used it as it was because the reason for purchase was to have for recovering surgery patient and it was urgent. So we have had to repair it as best we could to have it function.

I bought this bed tray from AAA Home Discounts. It arrived in two pieces. The four very small staples were pulled out and bent. I was unable to return it, because a photo was required, and I do not have that capability. Even returning it would cost more than the price, so I must eat the cost plus shipping. This item is poorly made - a word to the wise.

Could be more attractive but I have no other criticism. My husband has been ill and this has been fabulous for both eating in bed and using his laptop. It also folds away nicely when we don't need it.
