Not a gimmick folks, these things really work and work extremely well! I have convinced some real "non-believers" time after time. They swore I was using two different wines! This happened with both red and white wines.

We noticed a big difference in the taste of red wine after using the aerator. We also found a difference with the wine however I prefered the unaerated taste of that particular wine better....we are looking forward to more experimentation!

Some friends of mine told me about these aerators. I thought what a gimmick. To make it short, they work and they are well worth the money. Not a wine snob in MI.

I got this gift for my parents. They absolutely loved it. They said wine never tasted so good! It was something that they wanted but would never think of getting for themselves...Perfect!

My wife drinks wine daily and as such we are always going on wine tastings and trying new wine bars. She recently saw the Vinturi Wine Aerators and tasted the wine she was hooked...this was the only thing she asked for at Christmas time. She received the Red and the White Aerators (at the time she did not even realize they made one for white) The boxes / packaging are the exact same except one says red and the other says white. There is no explanation of how they differ or how they areate differently. For kicks we did a blind taste test using red wine poured thru both and white poured thru both....no difference to our tastes (everyone tastes are different so you may have a refined wine taste). So I would suggest you just save your money and buy the red aerator and use for both (most wine shops only sell the red one so it the easier of the two to find).
As far as using the Aerator it is a must for the serious wine drinker. I thought it was a gimmick at first but I am hooked it really does open up your wine and really adds a new level to the wine. Everyone who drinks at our house is given the wine poured from the bottle and than another from the Aerator and everyone agrees the wine tastes much better using the aerator. It takes good wine and makes it nice it takes nice wine and makes it fantastic. We have bought several for gifts and the results are all the same everyone loves the Vinturi Aerator. I just suggest you buy one instead of the set.
