Themos brand does what they claim - they keep drinks cold (I have not tried hot).
But this product could be better.
Watch out - standard ice cubes do NOT fit in this Thermos bottle.
I had to purchase a special ice "cube" tray, they make ice sticks that are thin and long (and fit).
Only cost $3, but it is an extra cost they do not tell you about.
I also thing the handle should be removable. I works great on my desk, but when I want to pack the Thermos, I would like to save space and remove the handle.
The base is too large to fit in car cup holders.
The metal bottle should last forever. (Avoid glass thermos bottle - they work but break.)

definitely leak proof. used daily for coffee - travels from motor vehicle to helicopter to office. stays hot for 6-8 hrs when warmed with hot water prior to coffee being added. perfect size. easy to clean.

I have the handled mug and my husband has the one without. We both love these mugs. They have gone to work with us 5 days per week for the last 4 months. They keep our coffee warm for hours, don't leak, are easy to drink from and easy to clean. Our Oxo bottle brush fits down into them- no problem. The wide bottom might be a tight fit in some car cupholders; we carry them to work in our backpacks so can't say for sure. A caveat- be careful not to lose the seal ring on the cap. It removes easily (I take it off to clean it) but it could easily escape down the drain. An earlier review provides the info for ordering the seal if it is lost.

Simply excellent. As another reviewer, I removed the black plastic bottom so it fits my car's cup-holders. In my old thermal mug, coffee's temp reduced to cool in 3-4 hours. This truly does keep coffee hot throughout the workday! I didn't expect to like the style, but it turns out the handle will probably prove useful in that you can loop it over your belt or into a pocket for hands-free carrying. I thought it was expensive, but the solid build should provide a life greater than my previous 4-5 mugs combined making it far less expensive than it first seems.

This coffee mug is the best one I have ever purchased. It keeps my coffee hot for 6-8 hours. I love it. I have actually bought 4 of them, 2 for my husband who uses it daily and wanted a spare should he lose his and 2 for me for the same reasons. I am afraid it will no longer be available at some point and don't want to be without it. I have purchased many,many travel mugs and none can compare.
