My husband and I each received a Thermos Nissan Backpack bottle, several years ago, as gifts. If we fill them with coffee in the morning, it's still hot in the afternoon. If we fill them with ice and water, it's still freezing much later in the day. This is an awesome product!

I bbought this bottle for one handed no spill (or drip) stay cold, hold full size ice cube holding, easy clean operation and that is what I got. I would expect no less from THERMOS and that is what I got. I havn't tried it on hot (coffee)beverages yet but it will keep ice water with cubes cold in a locked car cold during a mid-July afternoom!

This is one of the best travel mugs that I have ever used and believe me, I have used my fair share! It keeps my tea hot for almost the entire day on the most wintry of days and cold during this sweltering heat wave!! And the cherry on the top is that it doesn't leak!! I love that I don't have to worry about the contents leaking out of the tumbler when I throw it into my bag!
PROS:
1) Keeps hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold for most of the day!!!!!!
2) Does not leak/spill when cap is properly screwed on!!!
3) "Sippervoir" allows you to test hot liquids before burning your mouth!
4) Great one-handed thermos!!
CONS:
1) Need a bottle brush to clean this as the body of the thermos is too narrow.
2) I wouldn't necessarily use milk in this tumbler since the top may be hard to clean in all of its nooks and crannies.
3) Since the tumbler keeps the liquid so well insulated you have to be careful drinking immediately from it or you'll scald yourself!
4) This is more of a wish list item but I would love to have a hook on the cap where I can use a carabiner to attach it to a bag.

The great thing about this thermos is that you can drink from it or pour from it with equal ease. I do both regularly. It doesn't leak. There's a latch that prevents accidental opening. It's fairly easy to clean. It does a good job of retaining heat or cool, and it looks good and is easy to hold. And unlike those coffe-cup-with-lid things, you really can toss this into a backpack.

This thermos was a great purchase. My son-in-law had one and I wanted one. I put off looking for one for about three years. Finally, I got online and found it. He's was a smaller version which was no longer available. I am really glad I purchased the 16 oz. It is perfect and my coffee stays hot all day; if the coffee lasts that long. It is perfect for a teacher that usually finds herself drinking cold coffee out of a cup.
